There are two types of UFC events. PPV (Pay-Per-View) cards happen on Saturdays and feature the biggest names — these are the events bars pay to broadcast, and the crowd energy is unmatched. Fight Night events air on ESPN and are free, typically on Saturdays or weekday evenings. Both are worth watching at a bar.

The key question is whether the bar actually shows UFC PPV events. Many sports bars skip the PPV fee, so always call ahead for numbered events (UFC 300, etc.). For Fight Night cards, any bar with ESPN will have it on.
